Coming back to Athens as part of the last leg of our trip we were really there for a surprise, The White House Plaka in Plaka was magnificent, one of our best stay ever. The host and all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and furnished and decorated with great care and some interesting pieces. The location is ideal for exploring Athens as it is close to so many of the attractions as well as great places to eat. Back very very very soon….”

We had a fantastic stay at The magnificent The White House Plaka! The location is perfect for seeing the historic sites of Athens- we walked everywhere! Our host could not have been more helpful- booking taxis, printing boarding passes, recommending restaurants, providing things we had forgotten, sorting out every little problem- so helpful and friendly. Our room fantastic! The Villa itself is quirky and full of character. I would definitely recommend it as the perfect place to stay in central Athens- we hope to be back.”

Our stay at The White House Plaka was absolutely perfect. It had everything I needed and wanted: kettle and tea, hot shower, comfortable bedding with a good mattress (which I prefer), an old neoclassical building modernly decorated in the center of historical Athens, high ceilings, wooden floors, marble bathrooms, the works…. The location is great – on a quiet street within walking distance to everything. We had delicious meals in Athens, plenty of great restaurants. It was nice to be able to cook the odd meal here and there too. Mini markets round the area have all you need.”

Our stay at The White House Plaka was amazing! The day of arrival, we had a massive delay, but our host kept in touch with us the entire day so he could make sure we would arrive comfortably at the place. We were given some golden tips about things that were or weren’t worth visiting, but also tips that saved us a lot of hassle and money on great restaurants and public transportation. We immediately felt at home. The Villa was very clean and excellent value for money. I believe that The White House Plaka was part of what made our vacation one of the best we ever had! I would recommend it to everyone, especially to people that want to travel on a reasonable budget but still want to have a very comfortable private stay!”
